Holga 120PCF Pinhole camera

Een bijzondere ervaring!

Deze camera is een echte Holga hit, een middenformaat Pinhole camera in de orginele Holga camerabehuizing. Eeen lens is niet nodig omdat de kleine opening (pinhole) aan de voorzijde van de camera is de enige bron voor het licht. Door het kleine formaat van de opening is vgoor iedere opname een lange belichting nodig - vanaf 1 seconde met voldoende zonlicht tot een paar uur in de nachtelijke uren.

Opnamen zijn extrem soft focus en als in een droom - ieder bewegend onderwerp wordt weergegeven als een veeg van een geest - een bijna eindeloze scherptediepte van dichtbij tot oneindig geeft een zeer speciaal effect.

Door het gebruik van middenformaat film geeft een mooie scherpte. diepe kleuren en rijke detailweergave welke alleen door een 120 formaat film geven kan.

Holga 120 Pinhole Features

Pinhole Image System
This boxy little guy creates an image using a tiny pinhole rather than a lens. Given this old-school technology, there are a few important characteristics to note: Every exposure will be a long exposure (2 seconds to 30 min or longer!)

• No focusing is required
• Your image will be soft-focus, dreamy, and absolutely unique
• Nearly unlimited depth of field renders both close & far objects in relative focus
• Any subject moving at all will be blurred or invisible

Uncoupled Advance and Shutter
After you shoot an image, you can choose to advance it one full frame or not advance at all. This feature allows you to shoot limitless times on the same frame (multiple exposures). You can also advance it only part of the frame – allowing you to shoot a partial exposure or a stretched out and overlapping Holga panorama. Hooray!

Radiant 120 Medium Format Film
Using a pinhole will always result in a soft and low-resolution image. Therefore, the larger your film format, the sharper and stronger your image will be. Although 35mm can produce very nice results for normal prints (4x6”, 10x15cm), you’ll need 120 to enlarge past that point and still have a vibrant, colorful image.
